One of the best video game franchises is finally coming back this summer. EA Sports is bringing back their college football game. It will be called EA Sports College Football 25. A ton of Ohio State football players have opted into the game and that is great for fans of college football. This game was universally beloved.

The game has been gone for a decade courteous of the Ed O’Bannon lawsuit. Now that it’s back, fans and players can play as their favorite team again. Personally, I’ve been waiting for this game for a long time and I can’t wait to play it again. Buckeye players can’t wait to play the game either.

This Ohio State football team should be pretty good next season with everyone coming back. That means that a lot of players should have a high ranking in the game. After the first day of Spring practice, several Ohio State Buckeyes tried to project what their ranking in the new video game should be.

As you can see, several Buckeyes think they deserve a high ranking. I can’t blame them, although some players have some unrealistic expectations for what they will be. There’s no way all of these guys are going to be 90+ because it’s a tough ranking system! The old game did a pretty good job of ranking players and I expect this version to be the same.

So which Ohio State football players should be ranked the highest? If I had to guess, I would say Emeka Egbuka, Denzel Ward, and J.T. Tuimoloau will be the three highest-rated players. Caleb Downs could also be 90+, but I don’t think he’ll be there yet. If you play Ohio State in dynasty mode he’ll get there after one year and dominate after that.

What do you think? Do you think some of the players have realistic expectations for their ratings, or will they be disappointed?
