The Ohio State football program has the most five-star recruits in the country for the 2025 recruiting class. They currently have three of them. They’re trying very hard to increase that number. Doing so would get their recruiting class back to being the best in the country, which is where Notre Dame currently sits.

We told you about how Ohio State is making a big push for David Sanders Jr. along the offensive line. The five-star offensive lineman is projected to head to Clemson but still has a visit scheduled for Ohio State next month. Apparently, Ohio State is a school to watch when it comes to changing that projection.

The Ohio State football program could finally get a five-star offensive lineman

In regards to where Sanders Jr. could end up, take a look at the clip below.

This would be by far the best moment that Justin Frye has had since joining the Ohio State football program. He hasn’t recruited particularly well and the offensive line has failed to produce on the field. Landing Sanders Jr. would be a massive victory for him. It would also likely save his job regardless of what the offensive line does this year.

Ohio State still has work to do before his visit. He has five visits scheduled between now and the end of June, so there is certainly competition for him. Frye and the rest of the staff need to make sure their ducks are in a row before he visits at the end of June. Ohio State gets the last visit, which could be a good thing.

The Buckeyes are sitting in a good spot. They’d obviously like to be the favorite to land him, but they are still in striking distance.
