The Ohio State football team has 23 recruits in their 2025 recruiting class so far. That’s after they grabbed a five-star recruit on Saturday to add their total of five-star recruits in this class to four. They are hoping to increase that number before Signing Day as well. The Buckeyes have two other guys in mind that they want to grab.

One of those recruits has had a commitment date set for a while. Jaime Ffrench, a five-star receiver, has his decision date set for August 30th. The Buckeyes will find out if they get him right as the new season starts. Another one of their top priorities left in recruiting has his commitment date also set for the month of August.

David Sanders Jr., an offensive lineman, is the other primary guy they are looking for. Sanders Jr. has set a final school list as well of four schools. Besides the Ohio State football team, he has Clemson, Tennessee, and Georgia on his final list. He has set his commitment date for August 17th, so he’ll make his mind up in the middle of the month.

The Buckeyes need Sanders Jr. more than they need Ffrench. The receiver room is the most talented positional group on the team in terms of depth. Unfortunately, the offensive line is the position with perhaps the least amount of depth on the entire team. They don’t have many high-level players on the line.

The Buckeyes are hoping to get both of these recruits to cap off what has been a great recruiting class. This could end up being the best recruiting class in the country if things continue going the way that they are. Ohio State might only take three or four more guys in this class.
