The Ohio State football team is one of the best teams in the country this year. The roster is talented on both sides of the ball. There’s a chance that the defense is in the country now that they added Caleb Downs to the secondary. They are going to be extremely hard to throw the ball against now that Downs is back there to join all of the other guys who came back.

Offensively, they should be better than they were a year ago. They have two great running backs and a stable of wide receivers to throw the ball to. The offensive line is still the biggest problem. Still, the coaches don’t think it’s that much of an issue because they voted the Buckeyes as the second-ranked team in the country.

The Ohio State football team is ranked second in the country in the Coaches Poll

Only Georgia is ranked ahead of the Buckeyes by the coaches. In fact, they were able to get seven first-place votes from the coaches. They are the highest-ranked Big Ten team. Oregon is just behind them at third. In fact, there are four Big Ten teams in the top nine. It’s clear that the coaches respect the Big Ten as one of the best conferences in the country.

Ohio State is likely to be ranked second in the AP Poll too when that comes out. This ranking is about right for the Ohio State Buckeyes. They have a lot of talent and they should be one of the favorites to win the national championship. They are certainly one of the favorites to win the Big Ten too.

Of course, it’s not where you are ranked to start the season that matters. It’s where you are at the end of the year. Ohio State is hoping to keep this ranking all the way through the year.
