The Ohio State football team has done a great job recruiting in recent years. Ryan Day has done a very good job of having some great recruiting classes since he took over the head coaching job. Good quarterback play has also been a staple of the Buckeyes’ identity under Day. Every year except 2023 has seen exceptional quarterback play.

Speaking of their quarterbacks, the Buckeyes have a lot of talented ones on the roster. Only Will Howard, who transferred in from Kansas State, has experience though. They added two more five-star quarterbacks to the roster from the 2024 recruiting class and will add another five-star quarterback to the roster next year.

ESPN loves the Ohio State football team’s future offense

Those quarterbacks are the central reason why so many like what the Buckeyes have a chance to do in the future. According to ESPN, they think the Ohio State football program is in the best spot to have an elite offense in the future. They have the best future offensive roster in the country.

Of course, the Buckeyes are hoping to presently have the best offensive roster in the country. They had a great defense a year ago and will again this season. If they can pair very good offense with that defense, they are going to be the favorite to win a national championship. They still have to beat Michigan and win the Big Ten first though.

Besides the quarterback, the wide receivers are great. Quinshon Judkins will be the starting running back next season. The only questionable part about Ohio State’s future offense is the offensive line. That’s a question for the current starting lineup who is going to go out there this year too.

If they can get that offensive line fixed, the Buckeyes are going to be back to being dangerous.
