Every year, it seems like Big Ten Media Day gets bigger and bigger. With there being 18 teams in the conference now, it takes a while to hear from everyone. That’s why Media Day will be three days this year, being scheduled from July 23-25. The Ohio State football team will be sending three players to Indianapolis to answer questions.

Ryan Day will also be over in Indy for Big Ten Media Days as well. He typically has the answers that reveal a little more about what is happening with the team and who might start. Still, the Buckeyes will be sending three players from this year’s team to answer questions during the Media Days and all are upperclassmen.

Ohio State football team announces three player reps for Big Ten Media Days.

One of the players is Jack Sawyer. Sawyer is returning this season to help a defensive line that should be pretty good. Sawyer, a Columbus-area native, is hoping to leave the Buckeyes with a national championship this year. He also hasn’t beaten Michigan yet in his career, so that’s another big reason why he decided to come back for his senior year.

Denzel Burke is also going to Indy. He was one of the best cornerbacks in the country a year ago. He has returned to the elite play that he showed as a freshman. Burke was a First-team All-Big Ten selection a year ago and decided to return to college football this year to win a national championship before heading to the NFL.

Emeka Egbuka is also one of the players going to Indy. He was injured most of last year so he didn’t have the production he’s used to having. He came back to show that he can still produce at an elite level and be counted on as a number-one receiver option. Egbuka could be the best overall player on the roster if he’s healthy.

The Buckeyes are going to be a team everyone watches this season.
