The Ohio State basketball team is trying to keep some momentum going after a massive upset over Purdue. It was the first game without Chris Holtmann leading the team and it couldn’t have gone better. The Buckeyes took down the Boilermakers 73-69 and gave themselves a glimmer of hope for a miracle run to finish the year.

In order to have that miracle run, the Buckeyes have to win the rest of their games. They play two of them this week. They take on Minnesota on Thursday and Michigan State on Sunday. Neither of those teams is great, although the Spartans are a top-five team in the Big Ten standings at the moment.

How to watch each Ohio State basketball game this week

For Thursday’s game against Minnesota, it’s going to be a slightly later tip than usual. It will be on at 8 pm ET on Big Ten Network. Ohio State is on the road for this one, so it’s not going to be easy. The Buckeyes have yet to win a road game this season and haven’t won one in 13 months. Jake Diebler is trying to change that.

The second game this week against the Spartans is also on the road in a hostile environment. That game is on CBS at 4 pm ET. Ohio State almost beat MSU late in the year last season but couldn’t seal the deal. They are hoping for a different result now that they have a different coach and some new energy. A win against them would be huge.

If this Ohio State basketball team can pull off back-to-back road wins, they are in business. They would be very close to the bubble at that point but would still need a few more wins to seal the deal. They’ve already beaten the best team on their schedule, so they clearly have some talent. Perhaps Diebler can keep them putting it all together down the stretch.
