The Ohio State football program had a few recruits in Columbus over the weekend. They had multiple really highly-regarded recruits visiting for the first time this Summer now that official visits are allowed again. While the Buckeyes haven’t gotten any commitments yet, they did a lot to make a good impression with these recruits.
Ohio State had a five-star recruit in Columbus this weekend. That was receiver Dakorien Moore, whom the Buckeyes are trying to flip. He de-committed from LSU and has reopened his recruitment. The Buckeyes are making a hard push for him. It’s hard to say no to Brian Hartline when he has the track record that he does.
Ohio State football program hosts ten prospects
Besides Moore, there were a few other notable prospects in Columbus this weekend. In-state running back Bo Jackson was one of them. He’s a four-star running back from Cleveland. Another in-state player, Justin Hill, was also on campus. Hill is an edge rusher from the Cincinnati area. He will be making his commitment announcement in early July.
In all, Ohio State hosted seven four-star recruits this weekend. A couple of them are already committed to the Buckeyes though. Both linebacker Tarvos Arnold and safety DeShawn Stewart are already committed to the Ohio State football program. They just wanted to see campus again to make sure that they made the right call.
Ohio State is still looking for their first commit for the 2025 recruiting class since the Spring Game. They are hoping to get some in June now that camp season is upon us. When recruits come out for camps, that’s when they tend to commit to programs. Ohio State should get quite a few commitments this month.
We’ll keep you posted if any recruits do decide to commit to the Buckeyes. Ohio State would love to get any of these guys in a Buckeye uniform next year.
