The Ohio State football team has their Spring Game on Saturday. It will be the first time that most Buckeye fans get to see the team this Spring. It’s a team that is loaded with talent and expectations. The Spring Game is a game that will give the entire country the first look at who will leave the Spring with the lead in certain position battles.

There are certain players that you should watch during the Spring Game to see how they play. While the quarterback battle is all but decided, there are other battles on the offense that still have to be decided. The offensive line is one of the spots to watch on Saturday, specifically the interior of the offensive line.

All of the Ohio State football players to watch in the Spring Game

Carson Hinzman is a guy to watch on the offensive line. He is locked in a battle with Seth McLaughlin for the starting center spot. Which one of those guys plays the best in this game could determine who has the lead for the job heading into the Fall. Josh Fryar is someone to watch too. He was terrible last year. How much he’s improved in the offseason is a big indicator of how far this team can go.

Jeremiah Smith is another guy to watch. The true freshman has been turning heads in practice and this will be his first real game action. Ohio State football fans need to get to know him because he’s going to play a lot in his freshman season. He’s already a beast and will only get better as he gets more experience.

Defensively, Sonny Styles is someone to keep an eye on. The Buckeyes are asking him to move to linebacker and this will be his first game in that position. How quickly he’s able to make that transition is the biggest question on the defense. Both starting linebackers from a year ago are gone, so how well Styles plays is a big deal.

The Spring Game is at noon on FOX.
