The Ohio State football team has done a fantastic job with their recruiting class so far. The 2025 class is second in the country right now and very well could end the year at the number one spot. They already have three of the top six guys in the country committed. Right now, they’re trying to grab another one from the top five.

Ohio State is trying to flip the top receiver in the country. That player is Dakorien Moore. He is committed to LSU. Despite being committed to LSU right now, he still made a visit to Ohio State a couple of weeks ago. While he didn’t change his mind then, Ohio State is still continuing a dialogue with him to see if he might change his mind.

Moore is rated as the top receiver in the country and the fifth-best recruit overall. Moore has all of the tools that you need in order to be a great receiver. As I mentioned before, Moore is locked into LSU right now. But Hartline is the best recruiter in the country. He has proven that over the course of the last few years.

If there is anyone who can sway Moore into changing his mind, it’s Hartline. His track record at getting his players ready for the NFL is second to none. NIL could also be a factor. Ohio State has now started embracing NIL more than they had in the past and it has certainly helped them with each of the last two classes.

So what are the chances that the Ohio State football program is actually able to flip Moore? I would say about 35%. Moore has been locked into LSU for quite a long time. It’s going to take a lot of work to get him to flip.
