The Ohio State football program already has a strong recruiting class for the 2025 class. They have the second-best class in the country thanks to a host of really good secondary players. They don’t have any stud receivers yet, but it’s only a matter of time before that happens. Brian Hartline is too good of a recruiter to not get some five-star recruits.

Speaking of five-star recruits, the Buckeyes have a really good shot to flip one this weekend during the Spring Game festivities. Dakorien Moore, who is currently committed to LSU, will be in Columbus this weekend. This will be the second time that he has visited the Ohio State football program and he’ll be watching the Spring Game.

The Ohio State football program will likely flip a five-star recruit

Moore is the second-best player in the entire country and is the number-one recruit at the wide receiver position. Out of Duncanville, Texas, he has been committed to the Tigers since August. That seems like it’s going to change after this weekend. It’s not often that Hartline doesn’t close the deal after two chances.

The Ohio State football program has a history of producing great receivers over the past ten years. It’s the place that all of the elite prospects want to go to prepare for the NFL. Moore obviously wants to play at the next level, and Hartline can help him get there. Maybe that’s why Moore has kept this visit on the books despite being committed elsewhere.

Even if Moore does flip to Ohio State, there is still a lot of time between now and Signing Day. With NIL, things can always change up until the last second. Nothing is certain until that national letter of intent is signed and delivered. The Ohio State football program will have to keep recruiting Moore even if he does flip after this weekend.

We’ll let you know how the visit goes this weekend and if Moore likes what he sees enough to flip.
