An Ohio State football recruit was invited to the Elite 11 Finals. Tavien St. Clair is the second-best recruit in the country and the best quarterback recruit in the state of Ohio. He has been invited to the Elite 11 Finals as so many other Ohio State quarterbacks have been in the past. He’s trying to be one of the ones to win the MVP.

If he’s able to, St. Clair would join three other Ohio State quarterbacks to win the award. St. Clair might be the one with the most pure talent. He actually was so good in Day 1 that he won the accuracy challenge that was put forth. St. Clair is fighting against the other best quarterback recruits in the country.

Ohio State football recruit could win Elite 11 MVP

St. Clair has been shooting up the recruiting rankings since last year. When the Ohio State football program offered him a scholarship, he was just a three-star recruit. Since then, St. Clair has been killing it at multiple camps. That’s the reason why he’s been quickly rising up to the second-best recruit in the entire country.

He has one more day to secure the MVP. If he keeps playing like he has, he should be the favorite to lock it down. That would also give him a massive amount of confidence coming into Columbus next year that he can compete for the starting quarterback job as a true freshman. He’s good enough that he can certainly win that job.

The Buckeyes aren’t worried about next year’s quarterback job right now. They are focused on getting this year’s job settled. IT should be Will Howard’s to lose with only Devin Brown having a real shot to take it away. I can’t wait to watch that quarterback battle next season. St. Clair is just focused on one more day.
