The NFL Draft starts tonight at 8 pm. Several Ohio State football players will be looking to start their pro careers. We know which one will get picked first and that is Marvin Harrison Jr. He is by far the best prospect Ohio State has this year. He is the best receiver in my opinion in the entire class as well.
Harrison Jr. is projected to possibly be the first non-QB taken. He could go as high as four once the top three teams take QBs. Of course, another team could trade up to four to take a quarterback. In that case, he would go fifth. There are a number of teams that could use him on their team to immediately improve their receiving corp.
Which NFL team will take former Ohio State football player Marvin Harrison Jr.?
The Cardinals are the team that has the fourth overall pick in the Draft. They need some weapons to give to Kyler Murray now that he is fully healthy for the season. Those in charge have mentioned that they are willing to trade that pick though. They need a lot of help on that roster, so they are looking for more picks.
In that case, the Chargers could take Harrison Jr. at five. No other coach in the NFL got a closer look at Harrison Jr. than Jim Harbaugh. He watched him up close for the past three seasons. He knows better than anyone just how good Harrison Jr. is. The Chargers also lost both starting receivers in the offseason so they need help.
The Bears need more weapons to surround the quarterback they take at number-one overall. That will likely be Caleb Williams. While they do have D.J. Moore and Kennan Allen, they could use a younger guy who can grow with Williams. That’s if Tennessee doesn’t take him at number seven before the Bears come up again at nine.
A number of teams could also trade up to take Harrison Jr. from lower down in the Draft order. When you’re as good as he is, plenty of teams will want you. That’s where Harrison Jr. is at right now.
