Robert Cash was the one who sealed it for the Buckeyes with the three-set victory. They took down the Horned Frogs 4-3 overall to win the title. They have now won their third indoor national championship. Ohio State was one of the best teams all year and was able to cap it off with a big win and had a tough road to get to that title match.

Ohio State had to beat Alabama, Harvard, and Virginia to get to the final. That’s not an easy path. It’s also the first time the Bucks have won an indoor national title since 2019. They play a mix of indoor and outdoor matches this time of year and are 13-0 in all of their matches on the season. They have to be one of the favorites to win the outdoor championship too.

It’s great to see yet another Ohio State sport win a title. The Ohio State men’s tennis program is one of the programs that needs more attention. They are really good and should continue to be really good for the next few years.
